Deep feelings pt 2

“Well, looks like you got every class with me except for your 7th period,” he said. “I don't have one, but yours over here.

When they got to the classroom, a dark feeling from before was there again. He brushed it off, because he didn’t want to look scared or give off a weird vibe in front of the new girl.

“Dang!” The girl said, snapping him out of his self-conscious thought.

“This class got eerie vibes,” he said.

“The window?!,” she said clearly joking.

As he looked up to see what she was looking at, he saw the window had scratch marks and a chipped part which looked like black pen ink on it.

“It's an ugly window,” she said, making both of them laugh before the college teacher appeared behind them.

“You better be students of this fine class before I write you up for destructive activity,” said the teacher. They stopped laughing, and he explained to the teacher that he was just showing the new classmate the classrooms she would be attending. The teacher walked away, saying something under her breath.

“So,” the girl said to her new friend. “What do you do after school?”

She asked, staring into his eyes as the last word came out.

“Umm, I usually just hang out with my friend Corey and play video games at his house or mine,” he said. “Not much going out. Parks are pretty far in our opinions, but it's my turn to buy snacks. Well class starts in a couple minutes. Wanna walk to your first period? I go early because I eat my snack outside the classroom. If you see a snack wrapper it's probably mine, ‘cuz I miss the trash can.”

She laughed.

As they walked to their first period, she asked if he wouldn't mind her being the new friend in his group, because she wanted to hang out with them after school.

“My mom's busy all the time and my dad works at night, and is usually just sleeping before my mom returns home,” she said. “I really don't have much to do during the week.”

“I'll ask Corey. He won't mind I think,” he said, to her before entering their classroom.

The periods went fast. Felt like 15 mins each, until 6th period ended and most school mates left for home.

“I was wondering if your friend Corey said it was cool to hang out with you guys,” she asked.

“After my last class ends,” he replied. “I asked him earlier in third period. He said it's cool. We talked about it a little as well, and his younger sister seems to be bored a lot, he feels.”

“Aawww,” she said.

“Yeah.. we don't know much about girls and his room is off limits for her,” he said. “So he doesn't mind.”

“Umm. Hey, I can't really be on campus after my school section ends,” she said. “Do you have a phone number or want mine to call me when your period is done?

“I don't know…if it's cool,” he said.

“Yeah I got a phone,” she said. “Just hand me yours. I'll call when I'm about to leave the classroom, okay?”

“Alright,” he said, writing his phone number on a piece of paper on top of his binder. “Class ends at 3:30 I think. I'll wait for you at the front gates.
